An emotionally distressed person (EDP) is apprehended by the police after acting out and spitting at a community activist in the vicinity of First Lady Chirlane McCray who was handing out flyers outside the Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College Subway Station in Flatbush, Brooklyn on June 4, 2015 in New York City, USA.

The EPD was found in possession of a razor blade and after refusing to calm down was taken away in an ambulance. The McCray was onsite to lend her support for strengthening rent control laws which are due to expire.
